Ontario's First Bunny Café
Some of the best things in life are meant for sharing, but sometimes figuring out who to share them with is easier said than done.
The summer of 2023 in Belwood Ontario saw Mad Hatter Bake & Brew open its doors in the hopes of addressing an unspoken need that had developed within communities following the Covid-19 pandemic....a need for connection.
After months of uncertainty, isolation and upheaval, it was all too apparent that many individuals faced a tougher uphill climb back to normality than others.
The main goal is always to offer a space that provides a warm welcome, an opportunity to share a snack with the company of others, or encounter a GIANT set of listening ears.
After years of working with vulnerable individuals, as well as within the hospitality and agri-tourism industries, the idea of creating a bunny cafe was one that left no room for hesitation.
We hope you love our baked goods, and our bunnies can't wait to meet you!
